Re Conditioners – Reconditioned Centrifuges, Disc Type Centrifugal Machines, Heavy Fuel Oil Purifier, Oil Filters |
BANSAL MARINE S.B. |
Working Principle Of Centrifuges:- |
The feed is introduced to the rotating centrifuge bowl from the top via a stationary inlet pipe and is accelerated in a distributor before entering the disc stack it is between the discs that the separation of the two liquid phases and the solids takes place. The oil phase moves towards the centre of the bowl and is discharged by a paring disc. The water phase leaves the bowl over the top disc and through a paring disc.
The heavier solids phase is collected at the bowl periphery, from where it is discharged intermittently. The solids discharge is achieved by a hydraulic system below the separation space in the bowl, which at preset intervals forces the sliding bowl bottom to dropdown, thus opening the solids ports at the bowl periphery. The bowl is mounted on a vertical spindle driven by a vertically mounted motor, via a belt drive.
Alfa Laval MAPX 207 and Alfa Laval MAPX 204 Separator are specially designed for biodiesel; remove solids, magnesol, magnesium silicate, separation of biodiesel and glycerin, separation of biodiesel and water bio diesel drying and purification.
Alfa level MAPX Separator also works for purification, cleaning and recycling of diesel fuel oil, marine gas oil, turbine lube oil, bio diesel, waste vegetable oil, waste cooking oil, biodiesel.

Crude Oil |
Typically Alfa Laval "Self-Cleaning" centrifuges like MAPX 207 Hi-speed vertical disc type centrifugal machines are used for separation of 2 liquids while simultaneously removing fine solids. Typical applications include oil or water separation while simultaneously removing solid particles down to 1 micron size.

Centrifugal Separator - Marine Centrifugal Separators:- |
A centrifugal separator to purify a liquid of a substance dispersed therein, which has lower density than the liquid. The Centrifugal Separator comprises a rotor rotatable around a rotational axis. Inside the rotor is formed an inlet chamber, a separation chamber connected to the inlet chamber, and an outlet chamber connected to the separation chamber, for liquid which has been cleaned of the substance.
In the Marine Centrifugal Separator a stack of several frusto-conical separation discs of disc type centrifugal machine, is arranged coaxially with the rotational axis. The separation discs are provided with distancing elements, which keep the discs at a distance from each other so that in pairs they form interspaces.
The centrifugal separator also comprises means for conducting the liquid and the substance dispersed therein, during operation, from the inlet chamber to a central part of the disc interspaces in a way such that liquid flows radically outwardly in the interspaces. Centrifugal separators of this kind are, for instance, used in a marine environment to clean water which is polluted by oil.

Fuel Oil Filter Cleaning - Heavy Fuel Oil Purifier (HFO purifier):- |
Heavy Fuel oil is a fraction obtained from petroleum distillation, either as a distillate or a residue. Heavy fuel oil is any liquid petroleum product that is burned in a furnace or container for the generation of heat or used in an engine for the generation of power.
The Alfa Laval MAB is a fuel oil filters that purified marine diesel oil. The fuel is then stored in the day tank prior to consumption.
Depending on the delivered quality of the fuel, the fuel oil filters undergoes schedule cleaning every 25 hours of operations. The objective of Fuel Oil Filter Cleaning is to remove the buildup of sludge, dirt, grim that gathers on the individual disc of disc type centrifugal machines during the separation procedure. This debris must be physically taken off. In Mumbai, India Bansal Marine group supply LO purifier, DO purifier, LDO purifier which are tested at shipping yard.
Oil filters - Fuel oil is filtered to remove particulate matter and to remove water. Filters
Designed to remove water from fuel oil are known as coalescing filters. They are described in line with following concerns:
 |
Particulate filters are used to remove fine particulate from fuel oils |
 |
Fuel oil filters systems are generally made up in cylindrically shaped "cartridges" or elements of a |
| |
size convenient for handling. |
 |
Unless the oil filters element is of the metallic, permanent type that can be cleaned, filter elements |
| |
are typically used once and then discarded. In locations where the fuel oil system can be shut down for maintenance, single-element filter units are generally installed. In critical services, duplex oil filter units designed to allow switching from one bank of filter elements to another without interrupting the flow of heavy fuel oil are generally used. |
 |
Fuel oil systems typically use coalescing filters to remove water from the fuel oil and are also |
| |
extremely efficient particulate filters. |
